- asking questions
- Writing down the "main points"
- If a teacher says it more than once
- Facts
- Numbers
- Bolded, underlined, or items in all caps
What should you write in your notes?
1. Whatever your teachers write on the board
They have done so to give you "Think time."
Hearing it, seeing it and reading it will give you better retention than simply hearing it, reading it or seeing it alone.
2. Make your notes WORK for you. Organize them, don't DIS-organize them.
