We watched 2 videos, comparing them (discussing the pros of both). We also reviewed the theme of the poem. Our English department will use the term "theme" to be synonymous with "thesis"--so the theme of a piece is the idea the piece conveys.I also talked about BOOKS! You need to choose a book that could be used on the AP test. I fixed the book list HERE.
