  3. Let's review sentence structures! :)
    • We'll go over basic structures...
  4. Let's KILL someone: Daily mysteries
    • Review CLAIM
    • Review WARRANT
    • Review EVIDENCE
  5. QUICK WRITE:
    • Write about the mystery scenario using ALL the sentence structures
      • IC
      • IC, cc IC (or IC; IC)
      • DC, IC (or IC DC)
      • DC, IC, cc, IC (or IC, cc IC DC)
    • Make sure your 4 sentences describe what happened in the scenario.
    • Make sure you have capitals, periods, commas, and you use paragraph style.
  6. Validation:
    • Free write & discussion
    • What was the BEST thing that happened over the Christmas break? WHY? (describe)
    • What was the WORST thing that happened over Christmas break? WHY? (describe)
    • If you could CHANGE one thing, what would it be? WHAT & WHY--How would you do it differently?
    • If you could DO SOMETHING OVER, what would it be? What ACTUALLY happened, how would you do it (differently/same, etc.)
      • REMEMBER: Who, What, When, Where, Why, HOW, etc.
